Situated in the Nama Karoo region of South Africa on the edge of the
significant Ghaap Mountain Range, Linksfontein is a splendid gem amidst the
contrast of roughness and breathtaking beauty. The Nama Karoo is an arid region,
whereas the Ghaap Mountain Range is typically known for its spectacular dolomite
rock formations, ravines, bubbling fountains, marshlands and pans and its
abundance of karee and wild olive trees.

Linksfontein consists of approximately 16 500 acres of land
that is proudly owned by Hennie Gous and his family.
Linksfontein is located in the Northern Cape Province of
South Africa which can be classified as the safest in the country. It is
situated about 70 miles west of the diamond city, Kimberley, on the southern
latitude of 27°49’
and longitude 23°43’ |

Clients visiting Linksfontein need to book international
flights to Johannesburg and then take a one hour connecting flight to Kimberley.
From Kimberley it is about one hour’s drive by tar road to Linksfontein. Upon
arriving at Kimberley Airport you will be met by our staff, who are sure to make
every visitor feel welcome and at ease with their warm kindness and
professionalism. |

The lodge consists of nine luxurious air-conditioned rooms, of which five are
double rooms with en suite bathrooms. Our staff ensures that every room is clean
and tidy at all times. Laundry facilities are available everyday where out
well-trained staff takes great care in washing and ironing your clothes.
Upon arrival you
will experience true South African cuisine and warm hospitality. All the meals
are specially prepared by our in-house chef. To her and her kitchen staff the
culinary needs of every visitor are of great importance. |
